Exhibition center "Manege", located near the Kremlin, has been proposed by the Government of Moscow to host Sirha Moscow, as it is a significant event for the City. Since November 2005 "Manege" is administered by the Department of Culture of Moscow, headed by Sergei Kapkov, and is part of the Museum and Exhibition Association "STOLITSA". The venue has established itself as a place for important regular events such as "Art Manege", "Photo Biennale" and “Art de Vivre a la Francaise”. 2013 for the "Manege" began with a series of interesting projects, including the exhibition "Dior Couture. Patrick Demarchelier".
Sirha Moscow - International Salon for professionals in the food and restaurant industry - first time will be held in Moscow from 23 to 25 April 2013. First Sirha was held in 1983 in Lyon. Today Sirha Lyon Biennale is a real laboratory defining culinary trends. Marie Odile Fondeur, managing director of Sirha and Deputy Mayor of Lyon, comments on the decision of the Moscow Government: "We are very pleased that the city authorities pay attention to our project, which is coming to Russia for the first time.
Especially our team is pleased that we were offered such a symbolic place in the very heart of the capital. We are making every effort to ensure that the event will be held at the highest level. We invite all food professionals to Sirha Moscow in the "Manege" from 23 to 25 April!"
Today salon Sirha takes place in Geneva, Istanbul and Shanghai. The exhibition is also the venue for the most important competitions for industry professionals - Bocuse d'Or and the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie. Parish Sirha to Moscow is a strategic step and is further proof of the growing importance of Russia in the gastronomic scene.
