Choice Hotels International, Inc., (NYSE: CHH) today announced it will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. EDT at the Choice Hotels Learning Center, 10720 Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, Maryland.
The record date for the determination of stockholders entitled to receive notice of and vote at the meeting was March 12, 2007. On the meeting agenda are the election of three Class I directors to hold office for a three-year term ending at the 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders and ratification of the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2007 and other business that properly comes before the meeting.
Nominees for director this year are William L. Jews, John T. Schwieters and David C. Sullivan.
