Norwegian VIA Ferieverden (“VIA”) has signed a three year partnership agreement with Exclusively Hotels who will provide VIA with its unique reservation platform for travel agents.
As one of the most recognized brands in Norway, VIA is a valued partner for Exclusively Hotels. VIA is the largest leisure travel agent in Norway, with 43 offices throughout the country and a turnover in 2005 of approximately GBP 72 million. The Exclusively Hotels reservation platform will provide VIA’s travel consultants with access to over 57,000 hotels in 7,500 destinations worldwide, with guaranteed availability and instant booking confirmation for their clients.
Karin Arnesen, Managing Director of VIA said, “VIA recognizes the demand from our customers for booking hotels with instant confirmation, a greater choice of hotels, and competitive prices. In order to give the client a better offer than they can find elsewhere it was imperative for us to find a hotel booking system that could satisfy these demands. We believe we have found such a supplier in Exclusively Hotels.”
Exclusively Hotels was chosen by VIA in the face of tough competition from other major hotel suppliers. Product Manager Charles Martin said, “Exclusively Hotels has integrated its brand with a wide variety of global travel and media sites.
