Hotel Amigo, a Rocco Forte hotel in Brussels, has transformed one of its suite into the Peter Lindbergh Suite.
Furnished with the artist’s work, the suite pays tribute to the master of photography and will be available to stay in during the exhibition, Peter Lindbergh, Untold Stories that is running from 15 December 2022 to 14 May 2023 at the Espace Vanderborght – only a few steps from the hotel.
The exhibition has been in several European cities, but Brussels will be the first European capital to honor Peter Lindbergh, an artist whose work has placed him among the greatest of contemporary photographers.
This retrospective, which pays tribute to him, is the expression of an artistic vision that has been built and nourished over four decades of work, encounters and creation.
For three years, Lindbergh spent his nights researching, editing and assembling images to offer new interpretations and create surprise.
These unpublished photos, videos and large formats will be shown for four months in the Espace Vanderborght in Brussels, thanks to the involvement and support of the city and the collaboration of the Peter Lindbergh Foundation.
As great supporter of arts in the city of Brussels, Hotel Amigo has created a showcase to pay tribute to the work and imprint of Lindbergh.
An exceptional artist for an ephemeral suite
For the timing of the exhibition, Untold Stories, Hotel Amigo will offer its guests an ephemeral suite in homage to an artist whose work perfectly mirrors the world of Rocco Forte Hotels’ involvement in the arts. Authentic works of art have been carefully selected and will adorn the walls.
Jean Reno, Jeanne Moreau and Isabella Rossellini are just some of the stars who have posed for the lens of the famous photographer.
Guests will also discover a booklet "Untold Stories", a bookmark and some postcards representing a work of Peter Lindbergh. An experience that will allow you to truly immerse yourself in the artist's genius in a setting that exudes excellence.
