Terragora Lodges in Les Epesses has been named Best Sustainable Accommodation in France at the second edition of the “GrINN Awards” for Sustainable Tourism in Europe, organised by Quartz Inn Hotels.
These prestigious awards recognize the outstanding sustainability efforts of hundreds of hotels and tourism companies from 51 European countries, competing across 100 categories.
Terragora Lodges is committed to eco-friendly and sustainable construction practices.
The lodges boast a wooden framework, wood wool insulation, and construction materials like earth and cellular concrete, with a remarkable 95% of materials being of natural origin. In terms of energy efficiency, the integration of solar water heating and wood-based heating, supplemented by electric heating for added comfort, underscores our dedication.
Beyond functionality, Terragora Lodges places a premium on ecological aesthetics, where the criteria for living in harmony with beauty are as integral as energy conservation. This esteemed panel was led by Alexander Zawadzki, Director of Quartz Inn Hotels, who served as the awards presenter and organizer.
