Windjammer Landing Resort and Residences, Castries, Saint Lucia | Re-opened 2023
Mediterranean spirit meets tropical serenity on Saint Lucia’s northwestern coast

Located in the verdant hills above Labrelotte Bay, Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences brings a touch of Mediterranean poise to Saint Lucia’s Caribbean warmth. Set across 65 acres of terraced hillside and beachfront, the recently refreshed property presents a contemporary take on its original aesthetic—whitewashed villas with terracotta roofs now reimagined with a lighter, more fluid touch. The atmosphere remains resolutely relaxed: a village-like enclave where newly unveiled Ocean Point villas offer expansive interiors, private pools, and uninterrupted sea views. Six restaurants serve a broad culinary palette, from Mediterranean plates to island-inspired fare, while a rooftop beach bar and tranquil waterfront spa invite languid afternoons. Designed with both couples and families in mind, the resort balances ease with experience—chocolate-making workshops, zip-line adventures through the rainforest, and bespoke boat excursions are all on offer. As the only member of The Leading Hotels of the World in Saint Lucia, Windjammer Landing quietly defines the island’s take on luxury: unhurried, graceful, and distinctly personal.

The Hotel Chelsea, New York, United States | Originally Opened 1884; Reopened 2022
An enigmatic and creative landmark in the heart of Manhattan

A landmark of bohemian elegance and creative legacy, Hotel Chelsea has long stood as one of New York City’s most storied addresses. Since 1884, this iconic hotel has drawn artists, writers, and cultural trailblazers into its richly layered world; a singular sanctuary suspended between time and place. Set apart from the rhythms of uptown and downtown, Hotel Chelsea exudes a magnetic otherness. Its storied halls whisper with echoes of inspiration, while its carefully preserved architectural details, including mosaic floors, wrought-iron balconies, and stained glass speak to the grandeur of a bygone era. Today, the hotel remains a haven of expressive luxury. Ornate interiors and art-filled corridors give way to elegant suites, where eclectic design meets refined comfort. Guests can unwind in the rooftop spa and fitness center, gather in the grand lobby bar, or explore three distinct restaurants, each reflecting the hotel's creative soul.

El Encanto, Santa Barbara, United States | Originally Opened 1918
A hillside haven combining historic charm, sea-swept serenity and sunlit gardens

White stucco bungalows and tiled roof suites are nestled among lush gardens, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Each accommodation is thoughtfully appointed with handcrafted furnishings, heated marble floors, and private terraces—some with cozy fireplaces or outdoor rain showers. At The Dining Room, guests savor locally sourced cuisine, including herbs and produce from the on-site garden, while the al fresco terrace offers a panoramic backdrop of the coastline. Wellness is central at El Encanto, with an intimate spa, zero-edge saltwater pool, and sunrise yoga sessions overlooking the hills. Personalized service, from in-room massages to curated wine tastings, ensures a bespoke experience. Whether for a romantic escape or a peaceful solo retreat, El Encanto delivers understated glamour and a charming, sense of place.

Ancora Cortina, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy | Originally Opened 1826, Reopened 2025
A supremely glamorous, destination hotel and spa in the Dolomites

A beloved enclave in Cortina d’Ampezzo since 1826, Ancora Cortina is a cornerstone of Italy’s most glamorous ski town. Located on the buzzing Corso Italia, near the iconic Faloria ski lift, the hotel offers 35 rooms and suites with panoramic views of either the Dolomites or Cortina’s lively main street. The interiors, designed by the renowned Vicky Charles, combine traditional Ampezzano charm with luxurious, modern details. The 2,500 ft² spa and gym are open 24/7, perfect for post-hike recovery or a pre-ski warm-up. Outdoors, vibrant adventures await: from the Tre Cime Loop to the Croda da Lago and Malga Ra Stua hikes, while curated experiences like “Sommelier for a Day,” flower arranging classes, and yoga sessions with a view offer slower, meaningful moments. The grand Veranda restaurant serves up elevated Italian cuisine all day with front-row views of Cortina’s bell tower and the surrounding peaks. Come nightfall, Club Brave, the in-house nightclub, transforms the hotel into the town’s social hotspot, hosting exclusive DJ sets and high-energy events.

Palazzo Cordusio, a Gran Melia Hotel, Milan, Italy | Opened 2023
Renovated, Neoclassical grandeur in the heart of Milan’s historic center

Housed within the meticulously restored Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali, originally designed by Luca Beltrami between 1897 and 1901, Palazzo Cordusio stands as an example of fine Milanese design. The hotel’s 84 rooms and suites retain their grand arched windows, period details, and original frescoes, all brought to life with interiors by ASAH Studio. Local craftsmanship from Molteni, Cassina, and Rubelli adds contemporary refinement to create elegant, understated luxury. Culinary highlights include four distinct concepts: Gioia Pasticceria, Giardino Cordusio, Italian rooftop restaurant Isola, and the stylish Japanese eatery Sachi. The spa features an indoor pool, sauna, hammam, and panoramic fitness center. Located steps from the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, and Milan’s fashion district, the hotel provides unparallelled guest access to cultural experiences, such as private La Scala tours and curated gallery visits. Palazzo Cordusio is a celebration of heritage and innovation—an immersive experience for design aficionados, culture seekers, and modern urban travelers alike.

Beaverbrook, Surrey Hills, United Kingdom | Opened 2017

A private cinema, library, and lounge-worthy Drawing Rooms also capture the home’s aristocratic charm. Wellness offerings include thermal pools, tennis, padel and pickleball, a serene spa, and designated nature walks. Creative programming such as art workshops, cocktail masterclasses, and heritage tours inspired by Lord Beaverbrook’s remarkable life layer in meaningful moments. Immersed in rolling hills and history, Beaverbrook is a refined blend of country tradition and modern luxury—ideal for culture lovers, design enthusiasts, and seekers of sophisticated British escapes.
