The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has announced a partnership with American Express that provides U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum Card Members with complimentary Leaders Club Sterling Status, elevating their travel benefits across LHW’s iconic portfolio of more than 425 independent luxury hotels in over 80 destinations.

The partnership with American Express allows U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum Card Members to receive this elevated status on a complimentary basis, without meeting the spend requirement.

This unlocks exclusive benefits such as five pre-arrival upgrades per year, daily breakfast for two, flexible early check-in and late check-out, and Leaders Club points for future stays. Additional privileges include members-only sales, bonus Leaders Club points, and insider experiences on property.

With Sterling Status, Platinum Card Members enjoy meaningful recognition and enriched stays across LHW’s collection, from The Hotel Chelsea in NYC and Capella Bangkok in Thailand, to Katikies Santorini in Greece and Le Sereno in St. Barthélemy, and beyond. Enrollment is required to activate the benefit.

Today’s luxury travelers are seeking more meaningful ways to elevate their journeys, with experiences curated to their tastes. These refined expectations are best delivered by independent hoteliers who are true experts in their destinations. Through our partnership with American Express, we have united two globally recognized premium brands to deliver enhanced benefits to both American Express and Leading Hotels’ travelers,” said Phil Koserowski, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, The Leading Hotels of the World.

This Sterling Status benefit for eligible American Express U.S. Consumer Platinum Card and U.S. Business Platinum Card not only provides travelers with immediate recognition and valuable on-property offerings but also invites them to discover our collection of remarkable, independent luxury hotels that reflects our shared goal of delivering elevated experiences to a premium audience.”
