Asia Pacific’s leading luxury hotel group, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, was named the “Best Business Hotel Brand in China” for the third consecutive year in the Business Traveller China magazine readers’ poll. In addition Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun; Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian; Shangri-La Hotel, Hangzhou; Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai and Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong also garnered honours, each winning “Best Business Hotel” in their respective cities.
The poll was conducted between July and October this year among the magazine’s readership of frequent travellers based mainly in China. Business Traveller China is the Chinese edition of Business Traveller magazine which has 10 editions around the world.
Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently owns and manages 54 hotels under Shangri-La and Traders brands with a rooms inventory of over 27,000. Shangri-La hotels are five-star deluxe properties featuring extensive luxury facilities and services. Shangri-La hotels are located in Australia, mainland China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sultanate of Oman, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. The group has over 48 projects under development in Austria, Canada, mainland China, France, India, Japan, Macau, Maldives, Philippines, Qatar, Seychelles, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.
