The Director of Sales & Marketing will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s sales objectives, strategies, advertising and public relations, to achieve the revenue goals stated in the annual Budget. (S)he must effectively manage the efforts and productivity of sales team. (S)he will ensure that effective internal and external communications with business partners are always maintained. Media and internet relations skills are of the utmost importance. The Director of Sales & Marketing helps create and maintain a high level of awareness for The Hotel President Wilson.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a luxury hotel sales environment and minimum of 3 years of hotel sales in a Leadership/Director’s role - Goal orientated with high energy and entrepreneurial spirit - Proven problem-solving ability, a good listener, excellent negotiator, and able to create win/win solutions - Service oriented in order to provide the highest level of guest service to the hotel’s clients -Capable Display a strong ability to prioritize, prepare and plan - Keen attention to detail -A ble to interact effectively and positively across different cultures - Strong work ethics, must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion - Team leader and team player, set a positive example at all times - Ability to assess/evaluate employees’ performance fairly - Experience in Marriott or similar branded hotels an asset - To have excellent interpersonal and communication is of the utmost importance together with strong verbal and written skills - Professional presentation - Fluent in English and French and an additional language is an asset - Must be proficient in general computer knowledge including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and Opera - Swiss nationality or C / B / G work permit or EU citizen

The hotel offers 180 rooms and 48 suites, 2 restaurants: gastronomic cuisine (1 Michelin Star) and Lebanese cuisine, an outdoor swimming pool overlooking Lake Geneva with a terrace Asian restaurant, an outside catering service and several banquet and meeting facilities for up to 1000 guests.
