Asia’s original and finest destination spa, Chiva-Som, is delighted to announce the addition of another title to its already impressive list of accolades, having been named ‘Best Spa in the World’ by The ULTRAs, the annual travel awards voted for by the readers of The Daily Telegraph’s Ultratravel magazine. The awards were presented at an exclusive lunch on 13 May 2008 at the InterContinental London Park Lane, sponsored by MasterCard.
Now in its second year, The ULTRAs – the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards – are very highly regarded and attract large numbers of voters, all keen to name their favourite travel suppliers and products. Circulating to over 500,000 affluent readers in London and the South East, Ultratravel is the quarterly glossy travel magazine published with The Daily Telegraph and features only the best in luxury travel. In addition to the ‘Worldwide Spas’ category, readers were able to cast their vote for the top luxury hotels, airlines, tour operators and travel accessories.
