Six Senses Spa at porto elounda DE LUXE RESORT has been honoured by being named spa-goers’ Favourite Spa in Greece as part of the 2008 annual SpaFinder Readers’ Choice Awards. Reflecting individual contributions made in the vibrant spa industry, the Six Senses Spa also received spa-goers’ Favourite Spa Therapist award.
Nearly 250,000 votes - a record for the Readers’ Choice Awards - were submitted worldwide by readers of SpaFinder publications, including Spafinder.com, making the awards the most complete consumer assessment of the global spa market. Readers’ Choice Awards will be formally presented during an invitation-only gala in New York on October 14th, 2008.
“Now in its sixth year, our Readers’ Choice Awards are without question the global spa industry’s premier awards – our answer to the Academy Awards,” said SpaFinder, Inc. In addition to Greece, Six Senses Spas are also located in China, Dominican Republic, Jordan, Maldives, Mauritius, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, and at sea. Several more locations are planned over the next two years, and include Brazil, France, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
