The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) has awarded Milestone Internet Marketing, Inc. a Silver Award in its 2008 W3 Awards Competition for the design and online marketing strategy of Sheraton Philadelphia’s website (http://www.philadelphiasheraton.com/) under the Hotel and Lodging category. The website won the award for its great appeal, richness of its content, and its search engine optimization that drives significant revenue to the hotel. Since the website went live in late June 2008, Sheraton Philadelphia’s online revenue has been growing exponentially and has increased 300% of its previous run-rate.
W3 awards honors outstanding Websites, Web Marketing, and Web Video created by the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide. Over 3,000 entries were submitted, which were judged based on a standard of excellence according to the category entered, and scored on a ten point scale by the judges.
