Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort has earned the prestigious AAA Five Diamond award for 2009. The internationally acclaimed resort has earned the coveted rating for eight consecutive years and, once again, is the only property in the destination of Los Cabos to achieve the Five Diamond level.
“We have achieved a Five Diamond rating for the eighth straight year because our entire staff is passionately dedicated to setting international standards for a luxury resort by delivering the ultimate personalized service and an unsurpassed guest experience,” said Managing Director Lionel Álvarez. “Our mission, year after year, is to remain the leader in our market and among the best resorts in the world.”
The Five Diamond rating is given to only the most select and exclusive hotels, resorts and restaurants in North America, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, that represent the upper echelon of the hospitality industry. For 2009, Las Ventanas was among only 103 hotels and resorts in North America to earn the prestigious rating. Only a tiny fraction – .28 percent – of the 58,000 lodgings and restaurants reviewed by AAA were rated Five Diamond for 2009.
Las Ventanas has been among the world’s most heralded resorts since it opened in 1997. It
brought, for the first time, the highest international standards of luxury and service to Los Cabos and played a lead role in elevating it to Mexico’s most upscale destination.
