Aspasia, the signature Italian restaurant at Hong Kong’s stylish boutique hotel, The Luxe Manor, is welcoming 2009 with the launch of a bespoke menu celebrating the Black Truffle season.
Available from 2nd – 31st January only, when the truffles are at their peak in perfume and flavor, the menu incorporates both a la carte and a set menu option for diners to experience the highly sought after ‘diamond of the kitchen’.
The Black Truffle Set Menu priced at HK$1,288 per person features five courses, all which are also available a la carte.
The tasting menu commences with Creamy Scramble Egg and Black Truffle (HK$308), followed by Scallop on Ratte Potato, Leek and Black Truffle (HK$328).
To continue, the set menu offers Lobster Agnolotti in Truffle Jus, Asparagus and Black Truffle (HK$468) followed by Beef Tenderloin Rossini Style, Foie Gras on Toasted Bread, Black Truffle (HK$558).
Dessert is served in the form of Black Truffle Crème Brule (HK$148).
A la carte dishes not included in the set menu but also available to experience the Black Truffles include Egg in Casserole and Wild Board Ham, Black Truffle (HK$338), Egg in Ravioli with Potato Cream, Black Truffle (HK$388), Winter Salad with Parma Ham in Citrus Dressing with Black Truffle (HK$308) and Rigatoncini Carbonara Style with Black Truffle (HK$308).
Guests will enjoy the combination of the finest Italian ingredients and the refined, earthy taste of Black Truffles that combine so well with Italian cuisine.
Celebrated for specialty regional cuisine from all of Italy and one of the finest Champagnes and wine cellars in Hong Kong, Aspasia is a refined yet relaxed ‘foodie’ favourite at the quirky The Luxe Manor, styled after a European manor in Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
