A New Year crowned with success for SINA Fine Italian Hotels!
Travel and Leisure has just named the Grand Hotel Villa Medici as Florence’s best hotel following major renovations on the rooms and public areas.
Every year the prestigious American magazine publishes the list of the 500 best hotels in the world following in-depth surveys carried out by international experts. On the 2009 rating, which has just been published, the Grand Hotel Villa Medici was awarded 85.43 points, one of the highest in Italy, putting it at the top of the list of Florence hotels, among the best in Europe and in the first hundred in Europe.
And the Hotel Brufani Palace in Perugia was also given an important accolade. Condé Nast Traveler has named it as one of the 700 best places in the world, with 87.9 points and one of only 28 Italian hotels on the list, thanks to its exclusive position, striking interior, levels of service and traditional hospitality.
