It is the year for Swiss wine books at the Gourmand Awards.
For the first time, a book from Switzerland wins the biggest award of the sector, the “Best Wine Book in the World”. The winner is:

41 Countries entered Wine or Spirits books in the competition this year. The author Alberto Dell’Acqua (Swiss-Italian) live in Lugano, is the editor for the last 35 years of Gastronomie & Tourisme magazine, the Swiss Trade publication in 3 languages. He has already published several importants books. D’Vinis is a story of Divine passion, Divine encounters… There is most interesting focus on Swiss and World wine sommelier history.
