One of the key aims when designing Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas was to achieve a building design that was as durable and energy efficient as possible within the taxing Las Vegas climate. Based atop a podium made of zinc, titanium, granite and limestone, the building rises vertically into a façade that draws inspiration from traditional Chinese motifs. Interiors have been designed by Adam D. Tihany with the infusion of contemporary elegance and delicate artful Asian influences.

As part of CityCenter, Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas brings a new level of environmental consciousness to the world-famous Strip. CityCenter is one of the world's largest sustainable developments, from design and construction to operations and guest amenities. An extraordinary urban resort destination brought to life by eight world-renowned architects, CityCenter has already achieved LEED® Gold certifications for Aria Resort’s hotel tower, ARIA's convention center and theater, Vdara Hotel & Spa, Crystals retail and entertainment district and the residential Veer Towers.
