Thirteen Preferred Hotel Group Properties Honored with AAA Five Diamond Status

Thirteen Preferred Hotel Group properties were honored recently with AAA Five Diamond Status, the travel authority's highest rating for hotels. And two PHG hotels – The Greenbrier® and The Broadmoor – maintained their Five Diamond status for the 34th consecutive year – as long as AAA has awarded Five Diamonds. Representing the upper echelon of the hospitality industry, only 113 hotels were awarded Five Diamonds for 2010, meaning that Preferred Hotel Group properties make up more than 11 percent of the Five Diamond hotels in North America.

* Montage Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, California, USA) – 2nd consecutive year
* Ojai Valley Inn & Spa (Ojai, California, USA) – 4th consecutive year
* The Grand Del Mar (San Diego, California, USA) – 1st year
* The Broadmoor (Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA) – 34th consecutive year
* The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club (Sea Island, Georgia, USA) – 9th consecutive year
* The Peninsula Chicago (Chicago, Illinois, USA) – 8th consecutive year
* The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort (Kiawah Island, South Carolina, USA) – 4th consecutive year
* Woodlands Inn (Summerville, South Carolina, USA) – 13th consecutive year
* The Hermitage Hotel (Nashville, Tennessee, USA) – 7th consecutive year
* Stein Eriksen Lodge (Park City, Utah, USA) – 8th consecutive year
* The Jefferson Hotel (Richmond, Virginia, USA) – 17th consecutive year
* The Greenbrier® (White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, USA) – 34th consecutive year
