Ultra-glam SEVVA atop Princes Building in Central is celebrating Lunar New Year with an elegant menu of distinctive seasonal specialties and traditional Chinese live music.

The choice selection of ‘Lunar New Year Specials’ served from February 4-12 includes a prestigious version of traditional ‘Buddha Jumping the Wall’ hot pot. Priced at HK$780, SEVVA’s unique interpretation of the Northern-Style classic incorporates premium Green-lipped Abalone and Bird’s Nest with Chicken, Fresh Bamboo Shoot, Wontons, Salted Pancetta and Stuffed Bamboo Pith.

Other premium specialties on the menu include Abalone in Bean Curd and Ham juliennes broth (HK$280), Cantonese-style Lobster (HK$780), Green-lipped Abalone in a Risotto with Lemon and Écrevisse (HK$420) and Traditional Stir-fried Turnip Cake, served with Pickles, Shrimp and Chilli (HK$280).

Over the holiday period, SEVVA opens for lunch only on February 2 and is closed on February 3 and 5.

Only dinner is served on February 4, with a grandstand view of the Lunar New Year fireworks from SEVVA’s expansive outdoor terrace and the start of a short season of live entertainment by traditional Chinese instrumentalists who will be playing the Guzheng & Erhu. These performers will also play from February 7-9.

Opening hours return to normal with the Lunar New Year specialties welcoming the year of the Rabbit served for both lunch and dinner from February 6.

Over the holiday season, SEVVA is being adorned along a Chinese theme with auspicious red goldfish ornaments from SEVVA owner Bonnie Gokson’s ‘BG AT HOME’ collection and exquisite flower displays.

Prices are subject to 10% service charge.
