Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is now rated among the nation's elite lodging facilities earning the prestigious American Automobile Association (AAA) Four Diamond designation. Ameristar (NASDAQ: ASCA) is the only casino hotel in Colorado to earn the AAA Four Diamond designation.
Ameristar's 536 luxurious hotel rooms, including 64 suites, opened in October 2009 and now joins Ameristar properties in Council Bluffs, Iowa, St. Charles, Mo., and Jackpot, Nev. as Four Diamond facilities.
One of the lodging and restaurant industry's most illustrious honors, the AAA Four Diamond designation recognizes establishments that consistently achieve high levels of quality and service. It is awarded to those restaurants or hotels that meet or exceed AAA requirements. Less than four percent of North America's premier hotels achieve the Four Diamond designation.

Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk offers great restaurants, a fabulous casino and hotel making it the largest destination in the area. Since its opening in October 2009, the hotel has maintained 95% occupancy filling nearly 250,000 rooms. In that same time-period, Ara Spa has given more than 12,500 treatments and the property's four restaurants (Centennial Buffet, Fireside Kitchen, Timberline Grill and Waypost Deli) have served more than one million meals. The casino floor has 23 table games, a 17-table poker room and more than 1,500 slot machines, featuring more of the newest and most popular slots than any other casino in the market.
