Following the renovation of the RENAISSANCE PARIS LE PARC TROCADERO HOTEL, Jean-Philippe Nuel received the European Hotel Design Award for bedrooms and bathrooms during the ceremony held in London on Tuesday, November 22 where the world of design gathered.

Situated between the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysées, offering the experience of a unique world, the 100 rooms and 22 Suites of this Parisian gem reopened in April after four months. This new jewel amidst Parisian five-star hotels cultivates the soul of its exceptional outdoor courtyard through the newly renovated, luxurious interior.

The bedrooms of the RENAISSANCE PARIS LE PARC TROCADERO HOTEL, whether they overlook the garden – 70% of them – or the elegant avenue Raymond Poincaré, subtly combine esthetics and functionality: dressing-room with a safe for computers, chest of drawers, multifunctional round table...

Nuel likes to play with both the environment and the history of the place. Breaking the rules, knocking down the boundaries between the outside and the inside, he makes styles and periods meet at a crossroads between past and modernity.

The well-rounded mahogany furniture enhances the soft and soothing grey and taupe colors, while the baroque mirror's gold-decorated frame and a “tree-like green” perfectly embrace the grey color of the two-tone wing chairs and harmoniously play with the mirror's reflection.

This wooden, solar and vegetal trilogy is one of the secrets of perfection in a world filled with connections.

The theme of plants is again subtly introduced through a brilliant and ethereal piece of work: the canopy invites you to daydreaming... in the shade of a tree. This delicate pattern of scenery was chosen from a 17th century painting and retouched before being printed on a mounted canvas. The way it is bent emphasizes the great volume of the bedrooms.

Being the fruit of a perfect blend between spatial and decorative dimensions, the bedrooms of the RENAISSANCE PARIS LE PARC TROCADERO HOTEL offer the quintessence of today’s way of life.
