Eaton Smart, Hong Kong welcomes new director of sales & marketing – Gary Ma (Chine)

Eaton Smart, Hong Kong is pleased to welcome a new Director of Sales & Marketing, Gary Ma to the team.

With over 15-year extensive working experience, Mr. Ma is no stranger to the hospitality industry. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Ma was the Director of Sales & Marketing for the 5-star Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City; he also held senior sales positions at various Hong Kong hotels previously including InterContinental Hotels Group, InterContinental Grand Standford and Crowne Plaza Beijing.

“Gary is an energetic and spirited person, his inquisitive mind and awareness for hospitality industry makes him an incredible asset to the hotel,” says Mr. Shane Pateman, the General Manager of Eaton Smart, Hong Kong. “His enthusiasm is felt by everyone who worked with him; we are very pleased with his joining to the team.”

In his new role, Mr. Ma will assist Mr. Pateman for managing the Sales & Marketing team at Eaton Smart in the areas of Sales, MICE, Revenue Management, E-Business, Reservations as well as Marketing Communications. He will also supervise three Eaton House serviced apartments and work closely with Langham Hotels Group’s overseas sales offices to secure and leverage preferred global partnerships.

“I am thrilled to be part of the Eaton Smart team,” says Mr. Ma, “The hotel is full of potential, it is going to be fun and excited.”
