The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is delighted to announce that the magnificent beachfront property has earned AAA’s Five Diamond Rating, solidifying its position as the leader in luxury in the Caribbean. Since 2011, only five other hotels throughout the Caribbean islands have received the prestigious accolade, and The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is the only property in Puerto Rico to hold this honor as well. Furthermore, fewer than one-half percent of more than 31,000 properties recognized by AAA throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean are approved by the organization to have obtained this achievement.

The Five Diamond Rating is received less than two years after The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort’s opening in November 2010, and reflects the resort’s unprecedented, personalized service and unmatched level of luxury in Puerto Rico. As the AAA Diamond Rating Process is one of North America’s premier hotel rating programs, properties selected for evaluation must meet 27 essential requirements based on member expectations including cleanliness, comfort, security, and safety, before being assigned a rating of one to five AAA Diamonds.
