The complete 2019 MICHELIN Guide Shanghai selection will be revealed on 20 September 2018.

Lan Ting offers delicious typically home-style Shanghainese dishes made from fresh and seasonal products, and despite having moved during the year, it has not lost its warm welcome and now boasts a spacious and bright dining room to accommodate its loyal customers. Rong Cuisine (Huangpu), owned by the Xi Rong Ji Group, in a modern setting, serves outstanding fish and also offers authentic farm-style Zhejiang cooking (south of Shanghai). Shum Sam Wei (Minhang), is a restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty filet of spicy fish cooked in spicy oil or many Sichuan dishes, all as delicious as each other and at very reasonable prices.

If the local cuisine shines in this Bib Gourmand selection, it also reflects the diversity of the gastronomic scene of the city including restaurants offering cuisine from other Chinese provinces, in addition to Asian and European food.

The Bib Gourmand award, established in 1997, is as popular with chefs as it is with diners. It recognizes establishments selected by the Michelin inspectors for their good value for money, which serve quality menus priced at a maximum of ¥200.
