The ultra-luxury hospitality brand Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is celebrating another year of success marked by Travel + Leisure’s 2023 World’s Best Awards.
An arbiter of exceptional hospitality experiences across the globe, the prestigious awards program has recognized fourteen of the brand’s bespoke properties among the top in their destinations and five among the top in the world.
Not only is Travel + Leisure one of the industry’s most esteemed publications but these rankings are determined by the magazine’s discerning readers themselves, reflective of their own personal travels around the globe.
As such, the results are highly meaningful to Rosewood’s dedicated team of associates and underscore their unwavering commitment – and unparalleled know-how – when it comes to extending the ultimate luxury experience.
A highly anticipated element of the annual program, the 2023 World’s Best Awards’ list of the “100 Favorite Hotels in the World” features a remarkable five Rosewood properties: Rosewood Phnom Penh, Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel; Rosewood Villa Magna, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort; and Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco.
Inclusion on this coveted list reflects the exceptional design, amenities, location, service, and programming to be found across each destination. High ranks across these categories have also contributed to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ recognition within the top ten of readers’ “25 Favorite Hotel Brands.”
This year’s results further flaunt fourteen Rosewood properties as top spots within their respective destinations. Highlights include Rosewood Phnom Penh being crowned the #1 “Favorite City Hotel in Asia.”
Soaring above Cambodia’s capital city, this property’s well-deserved performance highlights the enduring appeal and resonance of Rosewood’s Asia portfolio as many destinations reopened this year.
Other standout performances include Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek being named the #1 “Favorite Hotel in Dallas-Fort Worth” and Rosewood Villa Magna being awarded as the #1 “Favorite Hotel in Madrid”. Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel also garnered impressive recognition this year, rising in the ranking of readers’ “Favorite Hotels in Paris” from #4 in 2022 to #2 in 2023, and also increased their standing on the list of “Favorite City Hotels in Europe” from #13 in 2022 to #4 in 2023.

The Travel + Leisure “World's Best Awards” program is a leading barometer of the places and companies that satisfy some of the most passionate travelers across the globe.
The results are determined by a survey developed by the editors of Travel + Leisure, in association with the firm Proof Insights.
Each year the awards survey invites the publication’s readers to rate their travel experiences in various categories including airlines, airports, cities, cruise ships, hotels, resorts hotel brands, islands, tour operators, and more.
To protect the integrity of the data Proof Insights maintained, monitored, and kept the survey website secure, and also collected and tabulated the responses.
Respondents were asked to rate a wide range of hospitality brands and offerings on several characteristics, selecting a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor across each category, which was then accumulated and averaged to determine the final scores.
