The hotel undergoes rigorous yearly on-site audits by Green Key representatives and third-party verifiers to ensure compliance with the program's strict criteria, as established by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
As part of Four Seasons for Good program, a broader initiative led by Four Seasons worldwide, the hotel initiatives span across the entire guest journey from rooms and restaurants to wellness and recreation while leaving a positive impact on the local community.
- Energy conservation: LED lighting, smart thermostats, energy-efficient appliances
- Water management: Water consumption monitoring, water-saving fixtures, water-efficient landscaping
- Waste reduction: Innovative food waste management, recycling program, plastic-free environment, refillable dispensers and glass bottles, reduction of single-use plastics
- Sustainable sourcing: Local produce, seasonal menus, responsibly sourced seafood, eco-certified cleaning products, and partnerships with sustainable suppliers
- Community engagement: Beach clean-ups, volunteer activities, and charitable donations
