At the most recent SpaChina Awards Mandarin Oriental, Macau won the ‘Best Hotel Spa in China’ and Mandarin Oriental, Sanya was awarded the ‘Best Destination Spa of the Year’. In addition, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong received the award for ‘Most Novel Facial Treatment of the Year’ for its Utopia Advanced Anti-Ageing Facial which uses naturally derived skincare products by Gaylia Kristensen, Australia.
The awards, which are in their third year, recognize the leaders and innovators in the spa industry. Andrew Gibson, Group Director of Spa said, “We are delighted to have been honoured again in the SpaChina Awards, and are pleased that the hard work and consistency of our spa teams are being recognised on the mainland. We remain committed to our spa philosophy of delivering authentic and holistic experiences, and are focused on providing a consistent level of service excellence to our guests.”

The 3,200 sq.m. Spa Village at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya is a destination in itself, with 16 private treatment suites and 2 VIP spa villas. Hidden away amongst the landscaped gardens of the Spa Village, is the Secret Garden, a quiet tropical sanctuary with comfortable day beds and a secluded relaxation area all set within tropical greenery.
Spread over 2,100 square metres, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is positioned throughout three floors and is one of the largest and most comprehensive spas in the city, incorporating an indoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre, holistic spa, The Mandarin Salon and The Mandarin Barber.
Mandarin Oriental spas are also open to non-residents providing the ideal venue in which to experience superb therapeutic massages and excellent skin care programmes.
