VK-Organisation and Vladi Kovanic have created a must-be event which was held for the 10th consecutive time at the Four Seasons GeorgeV Hotel in Paris, on June 1st, 2017.
Forum HOTel&SPA has presented an excellent programme for the professionals of Hotel, Spa, Thermal, and Thalasso industry, creating an exceptional platform for networking and sharing of knowledges and best practices.
Celebrating ten years of existence, with participants from France, USA, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Kazakhstan, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The program designed by Vladi Kovanic, creator of the Forum HOTel&SPA, showed once again innovation of the much-awaited event. Loyal participants of the Forum, including Andrew Gibson and Roger Allen, reunited this year to discuss the theme: A Gateway for Well Being. Other personalities of the Hotel and Well Being industry were also welcomed. To name a few : Joshua Luckow, former Director of Operations of Canyon Ranch ; Thierry Dubois, Head of ESPA France ; Delphine Guillebault, CEO of Microbia Environment ; Julia Bach, CEO of Wellness for Cancer ; Patrizia Bortolin, Spa Director of Borgo Egnazia, and many more, which can be found on : www.forumhotspa.com
Highly awaited was the recognition of the Black and Blue Diamond Award, an award created by the Forum HOTel&SPA to recognize each year, a man or a woman from the Wellness Industry.
This year, thalassotherapy was one of the star topics of the event, with the recognition of the thalasso personality of the year, Jean-Luc Pleuvry, rewarded with the Blue Diamond by a jury of specialists.
The Black Diamond Award for the Best European Spa of the Year, was won by Zoé Douglas, spa manager of Dormy House Hotel & Spa, in Broadway, England. A determined, young woman, who pursued a career in the Spa industry, by luck, as she confesses!
Sven Huckenbeck, Head of the spa Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe in Zweiflingen, Germany, won the Pink Diamond Award. Julie Mauro from France, in charge of the spa of Domaine de Manville and Séverine Philippin from Belgium, in charge of of Spa Thermal Baths, both tied third place and were each awarded the White Diamond Award.
Once again, the meetings between professionals, the exchanges and the privileged networks that the participants were able to create, was the goal of this 10th edition. There is today a true "HOTEL & SPA" spirit, created by the curiosity and ambition of these professionals.
Mission successfully accomplished the organizer, has already announced the 11th edition of the Forum HOTel&SPA in 2018.
