PHUKET, THAILAND – Outrigger Enterprises Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Rory Campbell as Area Director of Sales and Marketing, responsible for the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort and the Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort, both in Thailand.
The appointment, effective July 1, 2017, is Mr. Campbell’s second stint with Outrigger. He was Director of Sales and Marketing for the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort 2013-2015 and General Manager of the Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort 2015-2016.
Prior to joining Outrigger in 2013, Mr Campbell, an Australian national, worked in senior sales and marketing roles for Hilton in Spain, Anantara Hotels and Resorts in Thailand, and the Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong.
In his new assignment, Mr. Campbell will report to Tony Pedroni the General Manager of the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort, to Marc Landgraf General Manager of the Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort, and to Andrew Gee the Outrigger Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.

The Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort features 255 rooms and suites with modern interiors subtly blended with contemporary Thai touches. The property is part of Laguna Phuket on beautiful Bang Tao Bay a 30-minute drive from Phuket airport. The resort is popular with families and active lifestyle holidaymakers. The resort’s acclaimed Similan Ballroom is one of the best mid-sized event spaces in Southeast Asia.
The Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort offers an absolute beachfront experience for couples with 52 renovated guest suites and villas all with private pools. The property is located on secluded 300-metre Hanuman Bay in the northeast of the island 10-minutes from Samui airport (but away from the flight path).
