The 16th Salon du Chocolat in France will be held in Paris at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre from 28 October to 1 November 2010.

A sweet respite after the hustle and bustle of October and a fresh new look for the 2010 event !

Naturalness, quality-certified chocolate and limiting the greenhouse effect are all on the agenda at Pavilion 5 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre to celebrate the Year of Biodiversity.

The Salon du Chocolat launches the “Ethical Choc” trend and gives the green light to delicious, organic, sustainable chocolate at an event that will whet your appetite more than ever before, with fair-trade the name of the game...

The 2010 Salon du Chocolat is the event for the organically minded!
This year’s event has gone green in a big way, with clever accessories, design trends, beautiful organic presentations, trendy food, innovative products and real commitment...

Today’s consumers have the widest possible choice:
decoration, architecture, cooking, beauty, fashion, luxury, jewellery and chocolate are all ways to enhance their own well-being and help the environment at the same time...

For five days of chocolate madness, the Paris Salon du Chocolat will use presentations, musical entertainment, the “chocolate trends” parade, photographic exhibitions and more to showcase all the event’s “green” initiatives, designed to raise awareness of sustainable development and ethical consumption amongst as many people as possible.

The initiative is all the more legitimate insofar as the event, as a platform for people to meet and exchange views, has historically represented a link between cocoa-producing countries and chocolate consumers.
