Properties Scheduled to Open this Summer
Baltimore, MD April 5, 2007- Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Michael West to General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn and the Homewood Suites hotels that are under construction in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The co-joined properties are scheduled to open in the summer of 2007 and are managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts. The hotels are located only one block from the city’s picturesque waterfront and within walking distance to Baltimore's most popular neighborhoods for dining, shopping and entertainment. The location is perfect for business and pleasure, just a 15 minute ride to the Baltimore Washington International Airport.
Mr. West joined Crestline Hotels & Resorts in 1991, and has served in various management positions. Prior to this promotion he was General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center.
“Mike was instrumental in the successful opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center three years ago and we know he has the experience, knowledge and commitment to help us launch these two beautiful new properties,” said Dave Durbin, President & CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
Mr. West is a graduate of Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, GA, and is active in the hospitality industry.
