THE US GRANT, a Starwood Luxury Collection Property Becomes the only AAA Four-Diamond and Mobil Four-Star Hotel in Downtown San Diego
THE US GRANT, A Luxury Collection Hotel, San Diego kicks-off its 99th year of excellence with a Four-Star Award by Mobil Travel Guide. One of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Luxury Collection properties, THE US GRANT is the only hotel in downtown San Diego to join this list which has been defining the industry’s highest standard in excellence in hospitality for over fifty years. This accolade is added to the Four-Diamond rating awarded the hotel by AAA, making THE US GRANT the only property in downtown San Diego to receive both awards.

Since 1958, the Mobil Travel Guide’s ratings process has been based on more than 750 standardized criteria for hotels making it the most rigorious and comprehensive in the industry. The process begins with a facility inspection that considers every aspect of the property, incuding its overall cleanliness, condition and location. To achieve Mobil Travel Guide Four-Star status, properties must meet or exceed Mobil Travel Guide’s bar-setting service standards, which are determined through an unannounced, undercover service evaluation conducted by Mobil Travle Guide’s expert inspectors.
